Ruby Memorial Hospital
Cardio/Vascular Testing Department
This project consisted of remodeling the Cardio/Vascular Testing Department at Ruby Memorial Hospital. This project established an Imaging Suite and additional laboratories, a scheduling and reception area, and reading and resulting rooms, a probe station and a staff lounge. This renovation eliminated unnecessary corridors which increased space by approximately 40 percent.
Health Information Department
This project consisted of renovations and an addition to the Health Information Management Department at Ruby Memorial Hospital. This project increased the transcription area, added doctor review space and established a control desk for the office.
West Virginia Eye Institute
This project encompasses a 50,000 square foot medical facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. As part of West Virginia University’s Department of Ophthalmology, this building houses clinics for patient care, diagnostic testing and laser treatments, offices and laboratories. Additionally, this building provides specialized equipment for examinations rooms and classrooms. This project was funded by West Virginia University Hospitals, University Health Associates and the WVU School of Medicine.
Grant County Nursing Home
This project consisted of doubling the beds at the Grant County Nursing Home from its original 60 to 120. Additionally, this project included a Day Room Addition for the conversion of a 30 bed intermediate care wing to a Special Care unit for Alzheimer and Dementia residents, site preparation for a future 30 bed stand-alone Special Care Facility and 30 bed Respite Care Facility to be located on this nursing home’s four acre tract, and eight independent living homes adjacent to the nursing home.
