Gustafson has provided architectural design and engineering services for health care, educational, commercial and residential development throughout the State of West Virginia. Following twelve years of practice with other architectural firms, he formed his own firm, a sole proprietorship, in March of 1985. The firm was formed with a specialized focus on the design of nursing homes; he later expanded his services to provide design to meet the needs of additional growth in West Virginia. Throughout his practice, Mr. Gustafson has teamed with engineering firms and specialized architectural firms to provide a full complement of services to meet his clients’ needs. In 2005, Gustafson & Associates, Architects, Inc. was formed when he joined forces with Thrasher Engineering, Thrasher Environmental, Pentree, Inc. and The Berkeley Associates through the acquisition of his firm by Resource Engineering Group, the parent company of the four engineering firms. This acquisition provides both architectural and site development clients with full service for engineering and building design. The success of Gustafson & Associates, Inc., Architects is based upon the attention of Principals of the firm to the project from start to finish.
