Technical Expertise
At Thrasher Engineering, we perform our work utilizing the most current methods and equipment available. We operate fourteen full-time CADD workstations, utilizing Microstation J with select CAD V8 and AutoCAD 2000 with Land Development Desktop. Our design process from aerial photography to generate maps, to surveys using Global Positioning Systems, to design and record drawings using CADD, is the most current available. Our method produces clear, concise drawings that are easy for clients and contractors to understand; our plans are accurate and can be easily modified.
More important than the equipment we use is the expertise of the personnel using it. The expertise of the Thrasher staff is a combination of education and experience; it is reflected in all aspects of our services. Our designers have created plans and specifications for millions of dollars worth of facilities. Our survey crews have staked out miles of line and rights of way; our inspectors have dealt with virtually every contractor in the area. And, our support staff has prepared funding applications, pay requisitions and other documentation required.
